Vins is a discipleship leader for people with gender issues of personal or loved ones. Vins's story was featured in Maalaala Mo Kaya back in 2003 in an episode staring Fanny Serrano.

Vins is the Founder/Head Minister of The Minister LGBT in Christ Philippines, Inc, as well as Head of Gender at PCEC.
